정하뉘 사진전 춤
[서울 한국사진방송] 김재완 기자 = 서울시 종로구 인사동길 52-1 갤러리 이즈 제2전시장에서 사진가 정하뉘 춤 舞 전시회가 2020년 2월 19일부터 25일까지 개최하고 있다.
작가노트에서 나의 작업은 천(소재)에 감정이입을 통한 행위의 표출에서 비롯된다. 나는 어느 날, 흩날리는 태극기를 바라보며, 국가라는 표면적 의미보다는 바람에 의해 타의적으로 움직이고 있는 천(소재) 그 자체에 감정이입을 하게 되었다.
바람에 휘날리는 그 모습이 마치 타인의 흐름에 휩쓸려 다니는 나의 모습 같아 보였기 때문이다. 현실 세계에 존재하는 모든 존재(유기적인 존재와 무기적인 존재 모두를 포함하여..)는 제각각 행위에 의한 움직임을 지니고 있고,
이러한 동작(무기적인 존재는 형태 자체도 포함하여)은 존재 자체로써 스스로 의미하는 바와 함께 타의적으로 해석되는 긍정, 부정, 미적, 불쾌감 등의 감정적, 주관적 의미를 동시에 지닌다.
나에게 있어서는 타의적으로 움직이는 존재의 행위는 마치 미적 기대를 짊어진 무희의 움직임과 같이 보여 모든 움직임들이 하나의 "춤추는 행위"로 보인다. 춤추는 행위 역시 감정과 사상, 정서를 율동적으로 표출해내는 행위이기 때문이다.
천은 스스로는 움직일 수 없는 의지 없는 개체이다. 또한 작은 바람에도 쉽게 흩날리며 그 모양을 바꾸는 연약한 존재이기도 하다. 하지만 흩날리는 천의 모습이 나에게 있어서는 무엇보다도 큰 자유를 품고 있는 듯 느껴지기도 하며, 또 무엇보다도 아름다운 미적 존재로 다가온다.
바람이 불고, 또 멈추어서 그 우아한 모양새를 감추어버리는 천의 움직임을 보고 바라보며, 실재적 공간 속에서 순간 아름다운 자태로 등장했다가 사라지는 우리네 반짝임을 느껴 본다.
Dance
Movement of material is like a dance photography that is fascinating genre and even turn the simplest movements into art. I have chosen “Dance” as my inspiration to demonstrate how movement of material resembles our lifestyle and how we behave in our society.
My inspiration of “movement of material” started with a simple glare of Korean flag. We often experience the unexpected outcomes of our life. The movement flag inspired me how our life is often carried away by others whether it is your own will or not and the outcomes of life can be extreme in both ways.
The movement of materials resemble our life style and our emotional feelings attached to object and people. The color “red” can be a passion or blood depending on the intent and the view.
Sometime we call ourselves, a failure in life, because we live in the world that rules were set by wealthy successful people. Without wealth, power or authority, we are all failures. I was one of big the failure by our social norms but I never questioned my happiness of life.
Life is unpredictable and unforeseeable. So is dancing material in the photographs. They fly with reasonable cause of the intent of surrounding environment.
Movement of material is reflection of intent of our surrounding environment.
Do I have will and intent? Do you have will and intent?
Movement with intent and your will can change the style and perception of your surrounding life style environment.
Sheets of material can shine when you have intent to shine the world.
People! Friends! Objects! - Believe the power within yourselves. Life can be viewed as you intent!
