불가리아에서 온 패트론 예술가 가족(Patron Family of Artists)이 선보이는 "사랑의 기하학 Geometry of Love"이라는 전시가 2026년 7월 1일 금보성아트센터 1관에서 개막하였다. 7월4일 2시에 공식적 오픈닝을 성대히 개최하였으며, 7월14일까지 계속된다.
패트론 예술가 가족(Patron Family of Artists)은 개막식에 아름다운 불가리아 전통의상을 입고 입장하였으며, 금보성 관장의 전시소개가 이어졌다.

페트론 예술가 가족은 Lina Patron 리나 패트론(mother), Ayana Patroneva 아야나 파트로네바(14세), George Patronev 조지 파트로네프(12세), Boris Patronev 보리스 파트로네프(7세)이며, Patroneva(Father)는 musician이다.

가족 아티스트들의 작품들은 가족이라서인지 색채감, 분위기가 같은 선상에 있어 보인다. 첫인상은 '침묵과 명상'을 느끼게 한다. 불가리아 동방정교(Orthodox) 성상화와 현대적 추상회화의 결합을 볼 수 있다.

강한 색채나 극적인 구성이 아니라 절제된 회색, 백색, 금색을 중심으로 관람자가 조용히 작품 안으로 들어가게 한다. 특히 금색은 단순한 장식이 아니라 신성함, 영원성, 빛을 상징하는 요소이기도 하다.

"사랑의 기하학"은 우리를 이어주는 보이지 않는 힘에 대한 시각적 편지입니다
이번 전시는 가족에 대한 사랑, 예술에 대한 사랑, 그리고 사람과 문화, 멀리 떨어진 세계를 연결하는 사랑의 심오한 힘을 탐구합니다.
이번 전시는 불가리아와 대한민국 사이에 펼쳐지는 특별한 예술적 대화입니다. 색채와 상징, 그리고 숨겨진 메시지를 통해 각 작품은 사랑이 단순한 감정을 넘어 삶을 변화시키고, 서로 멀리 떨어진 세계를 하나로 이어주는 창조적 에너지임을 탐구합니다.
작품 곳곳에는 불가리아의 가장 소중한 문화유산 중 하나인 글라골 문자(Glagolitic alphabet)가 반복적으로 등장합니다.
9세기에 성 키릴(Saints Cyril)과 성 메토디우스(Methodius)에 의해 창제된 이 고대 문자는 작품 속에 녹아들어 때로는 선명하게, 때로는 물감의 층 아래 숨겨진 채 암호화된 사랑의 메시지를 전달합니다.
모든 작품은 사랑의 메시지를 담고 있습니다.
이 작품들은 말을 초월한 시각적 언어를 만들어내며, 이는 예술이 사랑처럼 국경, 시간, 언어를 초월할 수 있음을 증명하는 것입니다.
''Geometry of Love" is a visual letter dedicated to the invisible force that connects us all.
The exhibition explores love within the family, love for art, and love's profound power to bridge people, cultures, and distant worlds.
Created by the Patron Family of Artists, this exhibition presents a unique artistic dialogue between Bulgaria and South Korea. Through colour, symbols, and hidden messages, each work reflects on how love transcends mere emotion, becoming a creative force capable of transforming lives and connecting seemingly separate worlds.
Throughout the paintings, the Glagolitic alphabet - one of Bulgaria's most precious cultural treasures-appears as a recurring element. Created in the 9th century by Saints Cyril and Methodius, these ancient letters are woven into the artworks, sometimes clearly visible, sometimes hidden beneath layers of paint, carrying encoded messages of love.
Together, these works create a visual language beyond words ㅡ a testament
that art, like love, can transcend borders, time, and language.
