ÇöÀç ÁøÇàµÇ°í ÀÖ´Â ÀÌ Ä÷¯ »çÁø ½Ã¸®Áî´Â Çѱ¹Àü°ú º£Æ®³²Àü¿¡¼­ ºñ·ÔµÈ À¯¸í Èæ¹é ÀÛÇ°µéÀ» Â÷¿ëÇÑ ÀÛÇ°µéÀÌ´Ù. ÀÌ À̹ÌÁöµéÀº LCD ½ºÅ©¸°ÀÇ RGB Çȼ¿µé·Î ¸¸µé¾îÁ³À¸¸ç, Çȼ¿ Ç¥¸éÀ§¿¡ ±Ý¼ÓÀÇ Á¶°¢ÀûÀÎ µå·ÓÀ» »ç¿ëÇØ ÃÔ¿µ µÇ¾ú´Ù. ÀÌ·¯ÇÑ ±Ý¼ÓÀÇ ÁýÇÕÀº ºÎºÐÀûÀ¸·Î À̹ÌÁöÀÇ ÁÖ¿ä ÇÇ»çü¸¦ µ¤°Ô µÇ°í, µ¿½Ã¿¡ ÁöÇüÇп¡ ÀÇÇØ Ç¥ÃâµÈ °íÀ¯ÀÇ Çü»óÀ» ¸ð¹æÇÏ¸ç ´Ù¸¥ Ç¥¸éÀ» µå·¯³½´Ù.

This ongoing series of color photographs appropriates famous black and white photographs originating from the Korean and Vietnam war. These images are made from RGB pixels of a LCD screen and photographed with a sculptural drop of metal on top of the pixel surface. These pools of metal partially cover up the main subject of the image and simultaneously reveals another surface mimicking the natural forms represented by topography.

ÀÌ »çÁøµéÀº ¶Ç ´Ù¸¥ ¿ª»çÀû, Áö¸®Àû ¹¦»çÀÇ °¡´É¼ºÀ» ¼±º¸ÀÌ°í, ¿ì¸®ÀÇ ¿ª»çÀû Á¸Àç·Ð°ú ÇöÀçÀÇ À̹ÌÁö¸¦ ºÐ¸®ÇÏ¸ç »ó¡ÀûÀÎ À̹ÌÁö¸¦ ¹æÇØÇϸ鼭 ȯ»óÀûÀΠdz°æ ¹× ´ë·úÀ» º¸¿©ÁØ´Ù.

The American perspective of post-World War II asian conflicts are centered on geopolitical separations within a single nation creating two new ideological nations,

North and South, capitalist and communist. These photographs show fantastical landscapes, or continents, disrupting the iconic imagery and disconnects images from our historical ontology and presents another possible historical geographic narrative.
