The “Barami Sunmyeong Award Festa for Happiness with Citizens” was held at the north plaza of Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Central Lay Buddhist Association.
The square was filled with a serene Buddhist spirit and the vibrant energy of citizens.
Various cultural and hands-on programs centered on the theme of happiness created a welcoming space where people of all generations could come together.
Marking its 70th anniversary, the Central Lay Buddhist Association emphasized harmony between citizens and Buddhism, sharing the spirit of compassion and giving that lies at the heart of Buddhist teachings, and delivering a warm resonance in the very center of Seoul.
