[한국사진방송=횡태호기자]호원대학교총장배 전국 태권도 대회가 2026년 5월 31일[일요일] 태권도 본부 국기원에서 열렸다.

대회 개회식은 개회 통고를 시작으로 내빈소개, 국민의례를 진행하였고,  호원대학교 강희성 총장의 대회사 로 개회식이 진행되었다.

대회가 성공적으로 개최되기 위해 공로한 사람들에 대한  호원대학교 강희성 총장에  표창이 전달되었다.

강희성 총장은 대회사를 통해 존경하는 태권도 가족 여러분과 대회에 참가하신 임원 및 선수단 여러분께 감사드린다는 인사와 호원대학교는 문화 예술 분야 체육 분야가 강한 대학이라고 소개했고, 어린 학생들이 태권도를 한다는 것은 친구를 알고, 나라를 알고, 부모에 대한 효도를 알며, 나중에 자라 대한민국의 큰 리더가 될 것이라는 말을 남겼다.

또한 )호원대 산업체위탁 스포츠무도학과 책임교수 김기조교수은  태권도를 통해 평소 좋은 습관을 기르고, 강한 정신력과 의식 그리고 인성을 갖춘 태권도인으로서 대회 참가자들이 성장해 주시길 바란다 라고 말했다.

한편, 호원대학교 총장배 전국태권도대회는 품새를 비롯한 태권도 전 종목의 발전과 인재 발굴에 기여하며 국내 대표 태권도 대회로 자리매김해 나가고 있다.

2026 President of No. 1 University Completion of National Taekwondo Competition

[Seoul = + Korea Times / Reporter Shin Jong-chul] Howon University Presidential Cup National Taekwondo Competition was held at Kukkiwon, Taekwondo Headquarters on May 31, 2026.

Starting with the opening notice, the opening ceremony of the competition was held with the introduction of guests and the ceremony of the people, and the opening ceremony was held with the grand company of Kang Hee-sung, president of Howon University.

A commendation was given to Kang Hee-sung, president of Howon University, for those who contributed to the successful competition.

President Kang Hee-sung said, "Thank you to the Taekwondo family you respect through the company and the executives and athletes who participated in the competition, and introduced Howon University as a university with a strong field of physical education in the field of culture and arts. Young students know their friends, know their country, know their filial piety to their parents, and grow up later to become a big leader of Korea."

In addition, Professor Kim Ki-jo, a professor of sports martial arts entrusted to the industry at Howon University, said, "I hope that through Taekwondo, we will develop good habits and grow participants as Taekwondo people with strong mental strength, consciousness, and personality."

Meanwhile, the National Taekwondo Competition of Howon University President Bae is establishing itself as a representative taekwondo competition in Korea by contributing to the development of all taekwondo sports, including Pumsae, and the discovery of talent.
