명지대학교 K-민화, 서대문구청 지역주민과 함께하는 문화나눔
명지대학교가 주관하고 서대문구청과 지역주민이 함께한 K-민화 문화나눔 행사가 성황리에 열렸다.
이번 행사는 한국 전통 민화를 현대적으로 계승·발전시키는 명지대학교 K-민화 프로그램을 지역사회와 공유하는 뜻깊은 자리였다. 지역 주민들은 강의와 체험 프로그램을 통해 민화의 아름다움과 의미를 직접 경험했으며, 세대를 아우르는 소통의 장이 마련되었다.
명지대학교 관계자는 “K-민화를 통해 지역 주민들과 함께 전통문화를 나누고, 공동체 속에서 살아있는 문화유산의 가치를 이어가고 싶다”고 전했다.
서대문구청 또한 이번 협력을 계기로 지역사회의 문화예술 저변 확대와 주민 참여형 문화활동을 지속적으로 추진하겠다는 뜻을 밝혔다.
이번 K-민화 문화나눔은 대학과 지역, 그리고 주민이 함께 호흡하며 만들어낸 작은 축제이자, 한국 전통문화의 세계화를 향한 또 하나의 발걸음이 되었다.

Myongji University’s K-Minhwa Cultural Sharing with Seodaemun District Residents
Myongji University, in collaboration with the Seodaemun District Office and local residents, successfully hosted a K-Minhwa Cultural Sharing Event.
The program highlighted the university’s efforts to inherit and reinterpret traditional Korean folk painting, Minhwa, while opening opportunities for the community to engage directly.
